About The RoleNexxus Care are recruiting for a motivated care assistant to come and join our team at Meadowyrthe, Tamworth. 21 hours per week.We have part time contracts available (21/28hours), working on a 4-week rolling rota. (Shift patterns 7am -2.30pm and 2.30pm - 10pm, alternate weekends).Meadowyrthe is a large care residence located in Tamworth, and caters for up to 41 residents with Dementia, 10 of which are respite beds for planned or emergency use.Most of our residents have a diagnosis of Dementia in which you will support with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility needs. Medication administration support is offered by the senior care team. Lots of social activities are planned for our residents meaning no two days are the same, and your role will be varied in its duties!Can you work shifts between 7am and 10pm e.g. 7am-2.30pm/2.30pm-10pm?Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with their personal care needs, including showering, bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting Assist the residents with their medication, including medication reminders, administration assistance, and change requests Provide support to the team as needed Maintain a clean and orderly environment in accordance with local standards and OSHA standards Work cooperatively with Nexxus Care staff to ensure that all safety standards are met Complete all required documentation in a timely mannerAbout YouWe are looking for care assistants who are enthusiastic and empathetic towards our residents showing kindness in their support, and are able to build rapport and relationships quickly!About UsCompany Benefits: Blue Light Card Guaranteed hours DBS and training costs covered Dedicated care team and ongoing support Alternate weekend working/flexible shift patternsPlease note that Nexxus Care do not offer sponsorship INDMEA
