Caversham Primary School is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Controller to join our supportive team and help ensure a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience for all our pupils.The hours and days worked can be flexible - please discuss with the school.About the Role:As a Lunchtime Controller, you'll play a vital part in the school day - supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground, encouraging good behaviour, and promoting healthy play. You'll help children feel safe, engaged and ready to learn when they return to the classroom.Key Responsibilities:• Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall and outside in the playground• Encourage healthy eating and support good table manners• Organise and support safe and inclusive play activities• Help manage behaviour in line with the school's values and policies• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children during lunchtimeWhat the school offers its staffWe're Looking For Someone Who:• Enjoys working with children and has a calm, positive manner• Is approachable, caring and confident• Can work well as part of a team• Is reliable, punctual and committed to safeguarding• Previous experience is welcome but not essential - full training will be providedMore information is available on the school website or by emailing call 0118 937 5454Caversham Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
