Import Logistics Specialist, Global LogisticsJob ID: 2913267 | Amazon Czech Republic Srvcs Amazon is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist/Analyst for the Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) team.AGL aims to build and operate a global logistics network that enables worldwide product selection and delivery in a cost-effective manner. The local EU-based team manages international transportation of inbound shipments for Sellers, working closely with global AGL and FBA teams to develop capabilities, products, and carrier strategies that enhance our offerings and expand services. The team collaborates with local Transportation and Operations teams to leverage agreements and assets, strengthening our product offerings and extending our reach. Additionally, the team connects with AGL teams globally in India, US, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, and China to optimize origin and destination capabilities, reduce costs, and improve delivery metrics. A Logistics Specialist/Analyst facilitates information flow between stakeholders (Logistics Service Providers, Sellers, Customs, Product Managers, Supply Chain) and resolves issues impacting Seller Experience and delivery performance. This role involves researching and querying internal tools, making real-time decisions, and communicating effectively via phone or email. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conduct deep dive analysis of performance data from internal and external sources. Resolve data integrity issues systematically and ensure follow-through on resolutions. Understand business impacts of trends and make data-driven decisions. Prioritize and deliver timely updates on key metrics. Visualize data graphically for easy understanding across audiences. Develop automation solutions for reports, tools, and processes. Implement operational improvements through root cause analysis and solution design. Communicate tactically with external customers (Carriers, Vendors) and internal teams (FBA, Finance, Support, Fulfillment Centers). Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics, or similar. Operational experience with process understanding, improvement, and change management. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in relevant fields. Performance Management experience. Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Project management skills.
