This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves bikes and is eager to make a lasting impact in the Southampton cycling community.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Team Leadership:Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets. Customer Experience:Ensure that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience by providing expert advice and assistance. Inventory Management:Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure accurate inventory records. Visual Merchandising:Maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases our products effectively. Sales and Performance:Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets. Training and Development:Continuously train and develop your team's product knowledge and customer service skills. Health and Safety:Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff by following health and safety guidelines.QualificationsPrevious experience in a retail management role, preferably in the cycling or outdoor sports industry. A passion for cycling and a deep knowledge of bicycles and accessories. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising.
