We are currently recruitingBehaviour Support Assistantsto work in Northumberlandsecondary schools, with roles startingimmediately . Bothfull-time and part-timehours are available, Monday to Friday (8:30 – 15:30). We're looking for individuals who: Have strong communication and interpersonal skillsRemain calm under pressure and can manage challenging situationsWork well within a team and follow guidanceAre enthusiastic about supporting students to thrive emotionally and academicallyYou will play a key role in supporting students who present with behavioural, social, or emotional needs, including those withSEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)challenges. This support might include working1:1 , insmall groups , or alongside teachers in the classroom to promote positive behaviour and engagement. Your role will help students build confidence, develop coping strategies, and improve their focus and participation in school life.
