Sous Chef Fresh Food Gastro Pub Great Work-Life Balance Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Cobham, Surrey We are working with a fantastic, well-established gastro pub in the heart of Surrey, renowned for its fresh, seasonal menus and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Role: As Sous Chef, youll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Youll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the team, ensure high standards of food preparation, and contribute to menu planning using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This is a hands-on position in a quality-driven environment. Key Requirements: Experience in fresh food cooking, ideally in a gastro pub or similar. Confident leading a team and supporting kitchen operations. Passionate about producing high-quality dishes consistently. Positive, can-do attitude with a calm approach in service. Drivers are preferred due to limited public transport. Some on-site accommodation may be available (suitable as a crash pad for late finishes).
