Every day, our teams assist businesses and communities in doing what is right and achieving their goals. Our Glasgow corporate tax team is seeking an Assistant Manager. You will join our expanding team and support the growth of the tax practice across the central belt, focusing on the mid-market and OMBs. Role Overview As an Assistant Manager in our private capital corporate tax team, you will: Manage a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed companies, and large groups, advising on corporate tax matters. You will handle annual compliance, specialist claims, and tax advisory projects such as project financing and transactions. Supervise and review work by junior team members and report directly to Partners and Directors. Deliver corporate tax compliance, tax advisory, and audit of tax services, acting as the main contact for your clients and collaborating with audit and other teams. Organize tax work delivery, solve problems proactively, and develop your internal and external network to enhance communication skills and client service. Candidate Profile We seek ambitious, driven individuals who can adapt to changing markets and are curious to learn. The minimum requirements include: Qualified (CA, ATT, CTA) with corporate tax experience. Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and international tax concepts. Experience supervising staff and managing compliance portfolios. Excellent communication skills and flexibility to meet deadlines.
