About Business Development ExecutiveLocation:HoveHours:35 hours a week, Monday to FridaySalary:£15.00 per hour during the initial three-month probation period. Upon successful completion and a satisfactory review, the rate increases to £16.50 per hour.Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive for their client, specializing in professional packaging and freight services for fragile, large, awkward, and valuable items.This full-time, temporary to permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that can send anything, anywhere in the world.What are we looking for?Minimum of 3 years sales experience with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Proficient in designing and implementing strategies to increase customer base in B2B and B2C markets.Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, and promotional channels.Experience in analyzing and evaluating business development strategies for continuous improvement.Solid knowledge of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research and networking.High energy, proactive attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed.Confident in representing the company professionally to increase brand awareness in the Hove area.Main ResponsibilitiesConduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and growth opportunities.Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to differentiate offerings.Provide regular reports on market trends, customer needs, and business leads.Build a pipeline of prospective clients by targeting and reaching out to businesses locally and beyond.Engage in face-to-face and virtual meetings, presentations, and proposals.Handle customer inquiries professionally.Work with the manager to set and meet sales targets, developing action plans accordingly.Track sales metrics and KPIs, providing updates and forecasts.Develop partnerships with relevant businesses such as art galleries, e-commerce, and universities.Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and networking.Become knowledgeable about the company's services to effectively communicate value to clients.Train clients on logistics solutions to meet their needs.Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns.Provide detailed reports on sales activities and client interactions.Monitor financial metrics related to sales and profitability.Perform other tasks as assigned.Additional Information This position is temporary to permanent following a successful probation period.
