Security Controller vacancy in Tewkesbury (with occasional travel to Bromsgrove) (128DM)Location: Tewkesbury (with occasional travel to Bromsgrove) Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible) Start Date: As soon as possibleOur client is seeking a Security Controller to join their team and help ensure the highest standards of physical, personnel, and document security across their operations. This is a critical role in safeguarding assets, maintaining compliance, and managing secure documentation.Key Responsibilities:-Advise the Board of Directors on security priorities, measures, and compliance—proposing improvements and ensuring adherence to best practices. -Oversee the company’s physical security, supported by the Deputy Security Controller. -Maintain and uphold all required security accreditations, assurances, and assessments to the highest standards, including: -Facilities Security Clearance (FSC) -Industry Personnel Security Assurance (IPSA) -Surreptitious Threat Mitigation Process (STaMP) -Issue company-wide notices and reminders to maintain compliance and facilitate mandatory security training as required. -Conduct regular reviews and spot checks of all classified assets recorded in the Protective Document Register (PDR). -Ensure documentation, media, transport/movement plans, and receipts are created in line with MV’s Security Instructions and the Government Classification Policy. -Maintain and distribute up-to-date Company Security Instructions. -Control and log access to sensitive areas and assets. -Ensure secure disposal of classified documents and any obsolete or damaged hardware. -Provide line management and leadership to the Deputy Security Controller.You Will Have:-Proven experience in a similar security role. -Completed Security Controller Training, ideally via the Defence Industry Security Association (DISA). -A thorough understanding of the Personnel Vetting Process and the requirements for various levels of security clearance. -Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process-driven mindset. -Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. -Demonstrated experience in influencing and collaborating effectively with senior leadership.If you meet the clearance requirements and have a passion for high-integrity security operations, we’d love to hear from you.How to Apply: If you want to have a conversation, apply here, and for further questions, please email If you are ready for a new role and the next step in your career, take a look at our latest positions available and find your perfect fit.
