Planning Performance and Monitoring Officer Post number: PLN069 £32,654 – 37,035 per annum plus benefits. We have an exciting opportunity to join our planning team at East Cambridgeshire District Council as a Planning Performance and Monitoring Officer on a permanent basis. We are seeking a professional, organized, and motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. In this role, you will lead the management of information held and produced by the Strategic Planning and Development Management section, including housebuilding, brownfield sites, planning applications, performance, and other planning subjects. Experience in managing data collection, processing, and maintenance in accordance with corporate and national data protection policies is required. Educated to GCSE standard, you should have experience in storing data, conducting interrogation, analysis, and review in a safe and accessible format, along with experience using GIS-based software to collect, store, and query accurate spatial data. The successful candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A formal GIS qualification or willingness to obtain one is required.
