You will like The Commercial Laundry Engineer/Field Service Engineer role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial washing machines, tumble dryers, and laundry equipment at customer premises such as care homes. The role is field-based in the Northern region, primarily around Leeds, Liverpool, and Manchester. Responsibilities include warranty checks, fault-finding, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to multi-brand commercial laundry equipment, including Primus, Girbau, Danube, Speed Queen, Miele, and Electrolux. Ongoing training is provided, with opportunities to become cross-trained on additional manufacturers and product types. The role also involves scheduling, customer care, manual handling, H&S compliance, and some paperwork/PDA use. Tools of the trade, including a new company van with AC and a fuel card for private mileage, are provided. You will have To succeed as a Commercial Laundry Engineer, you should have appliance service/repair experience, including white goods, and ideally: Manufacturer training/certification (advantageous) Multi-brand experience (preferred) Good track record in maintenance, installation, servicing, or repairs F/Gas or Gas Safe registration (advantageous) Strong customer service skills Health and safety awareness Basic computer literacy for PDA Full driving license and flexibility for travel and hours You will get A competitive salary ranging from £30K to £40K depending on qualifications and experience, along with: 40-hour workweek Door-to-door pay Monday to Friday schedule (no on-call) Overtime paid at flat rate, with weekend rates at x1.5 on Saturdays and x2 on Sundays Optional weekend work available 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Private pension Statutory sick pay Van (Renault Traffic) with fuel card, for work and personal use Tools and uniform Smartphone and tablet Training provided and funded as needed Note : We can consider a solid domestic white good engineer at around £30K for upskilling, or a seasoned commercial laundry engineer at around £40K plus benefits.
