Reporting to the MD and company owner, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Director to facilitate further growth and explore new business opportunities. The organization has a strong reputation and a national presence (no international operations) and has remained profitable throughout its history. The industry requires a strong focus on cash flow. They operate a complete business model, manufacturing, selling, renting, and maintaining capital goods, with rental and maintenance being their largest growth areas. The Finance Director will: Offer insight and guidance at board level Support the sales process and champion margins Develop a KPI suite Improve processes and systems Represent the business with external organizations (banks, auditors, advisors, investors) Be responsible for all statutory reports and HMRC returns Review and present management reports Work with Operations and Sales to develop comprehensive forecasting and budgeting Provide leadership and development to the small finance team Drive financial knowledge and collaboration The business has remained profitable throughout its lifecycle and maintains a strong reputation in its field.
