Take on-going responsibility for timely reporting of patients scans. Provide a consultation service and advisory service to other clinical colleagues in other specialties within the Trust and Primary Care. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialties and participate in regular clinical meetings and other post graduate activities. Develop and maintain good communications with General practitioners and appropriate external agencies. Participate in the development of the care of patients arriving as emergencies. Participate and encourage two-way communications encompassing briefing systems as appropriate. Comply with all relevant Trust Policies and Procedures. Ensure that all trust wide standards are maintained to improve the quality of total care to all who come in contact with services provided by GEH. Ensure compliance with all appropriate legal and statutory requirements, including Health and Safety, Standing financial Instructions and Incident Reporting. Person SpecificationQualification(s) and Professional TrainingEssential FRCR Full registration with General Medical Council Eligible to be included on the Specialist Register within 6 months of achieving CCT/CESR at the time of interview. Desirable MRCP, MRCS or other professional or higher qualification Clinical Skills/ ExperienceEssential Evidence of extensive training in Cross Sectional Radiology Desirable Post graduate experience and familiarity of UK NHS hospital system Experience of CT/US guided biopsy/ MSK Injections Experience of CT/US guided biopsy/ MSK Injections Skills and AbilitiesEssential Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, their families and other health professionals. Able to develop, present and implement coherent ideas for service development/delivery. Able to delegate appropriately. Able to work within a team.
