Head of Student Health & Wellbeing and College Nurse Permanent/Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week Salary: 52,653 per annum plus benefits The Role The Head of Student Health & Wellbeing and College Nurse is a key member of the Colleges Tutorial and welfare team.The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.They will head the Colleges Health Centre and will liaise closely with the Tutors and members of the Education & Tutorial Department, the Head of HR and other Heads of Department.The Head of Wellbeing and College Nurse will provide first-line health care and health-related welfare advice and first aid to students of the College community throughout the year as well as developing a programme of wellbeing events designed at improving prevention of mental health and wellbeing concerns.We welcome applications from nurses who are not currently registered on the adult part of the NMC register, provided they can clearly demonstrate how their current registration and experience are relevant to the role.The Health Centre The Health Centre offers drop-in clinic and appointments to students.The College Nurse is available to help with a broad range of health and welfare issues.This includes assessment, advice and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, general health checks and advice, as well as support with well-being issues and other personal matters.This is a permanent full-time role and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.The hours of work are37.5 hours per week.The annual full-time salary for this role is 52,653.Why work at Caius?
