We are seeking a number of HGV1 Drivers to work for our client in Washington.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving have held their hgv1 licence for at least 6 months and no more than 6 points on licence for minor offences.Duties include both trunk deliveries and local deliveries and collections various shifts to suit days, nights weekends part time and full time.As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.Responsibilities Operate Hgv1 lorries for the transportation of goods to various locations.Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately for transport.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy.Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road to ensure safety for yourself and others.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.Qualifications Valid commercial driving licence (C&E).Experience driving hgv1 wagons training may be provided for the right candidate.Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving cargo as needed.If you are passionate about driving and committed to providing exceptional service Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: 15.00-18.50 per hour
