Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager / Employers Agent: Projects are primarily (but by no means exclusively) faade remedial works with project values between 1m to 20m. Employers range from national developers and government departments to freeholders. Manage a number of live projects at differing stages and identify and plan for new work as required. Technical design reviews. Procurement of construction works. Production of technical documents. Preparing and reporting against project programmes Client relationship management Skills & Experience of the Project Manager / Employers Agent: Understanding of JCT Contracts and the administration of such contracts (Contract Administration, Employers Agent) and the administration of change. Building pathology, construction terminology A basic understanding of warranties/bonds etc and when these should be utilised. Understanding of CDM2015 Regulations. Leadership, communication, and organisation. Willingness to succeed and to take ownership. Commercial awareness. Good written communicator (reports, letters etc.). Flexible and open minded. Good listening skills.
