Please note role is not remote, but hybrid working, and can be based out of either Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle or Glasgow.Civil Infrastructure EngineerContract | Hybrid working (3 days/week in office)Rate: £40ph-£55ph (Umbrella)About the OpportunityWe’re supporting a well-established engineering consultancy renowned for its role in major UK building and infrastructure projects. They are currently looking to engage a Civil Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis to help deliver a pipeline of residential and commercial developments.This is a hands-on design role where you’ll be responsible for the key components of civil engineering delivery, including drainage, utilities, earthworks, surface treatments (paved and unpaved), site access, and construction logistics. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing technical expertise while working with autonomy.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign of below-ground drainage, utility layouts, and earthworksDetailing of hard and soft surfaces, access, and service routesSupporting planning, design, and construction phasesCoordinating with other design disciplines and consultantsProducing and reviewing designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3DRequirementsProven experience delivering civil infrastructure design on residential and/or commercial developmentsProficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCADFamiliarity with UK design standards and best practiceAble to work independently and liaise with multidisciplinary teamsA degree (or equivalent) in Civil EngineeringPrevious consultancy experience preferredAdditional InformationSecurity Clearance:Due to the nature of some projects, candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance. This typically means you must have lived in the UK continuously for at least the past 5 years and be able to pass relevant background checks.
