We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, technical expertise, and our commitment to delivering compliant, high-quality products on time and to specification.As we continue to grow and improve our service offering, we’re looking for a capable and experienced Sales Estimator to delivery a high volume of quality quotations with the goal of converting these into customer orders.The RoleAs a Sales Estimator, you will generate accurate and competitive sales quotes using our in-house cost-plus system. This role requires keen attention to detail to analyse project specifications and schedules. You must possess the ability to convert your quotes into orders. By providing reliable estimates and facilitating order conversion, you directly contribute to securing new business and maintaining customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities1. Project Analysis.Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to understand customer requirements.Liaise with customers to gather additional information and clarify project scope as needed.Identify potential challenges or complexities that may impact project cost and delivery timelines.2. Cost Estimation:Utilise in house software and tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for timber fire door projects.Collaborate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials.Develop accurate cost models and pricing structures based on project specifications and company pricing guidelines.3. Estimate Preparation:Generate professional and comprehensive estimates for customers, incorporating detailed cost breakdowns and pricing information.Email estimates to customers, addressing any customer questions or concerns they may have.4. Sales Collaboration:Partner with the sales team to support business development efforts and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, and finance departments, to ensure seamless project execution. About YouYou’re an experienced, organised, and customer-focused estimator who thrives on detail and follow-through.
