Experienced Digital Forensic Analyst Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire Company: MD5 LimitedMD5 Limited, based in Normanton, West Yorkshire, is excited to offer an opportunity for Experienced Digital Forensic Analyst(s) to join one of the UK’s leading digital and eForensics organisations.We proudly support a wide range of clients, including Law Enforcement and Government Agencies, as well as Corporate and Legal firms. Please note that some casework may involve exposure to sensitive and potentially distressing material (e.g., indecent images of children).The RoleThis position involves working across the full spectrum of digital/eForensic analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition and investigation of a wide range of electronic evidence and have 3 years’ experience in the field.Key Responsibilities:Acquisition and examination of digital devices and electronic evidenceDocumentation and reporting of forensic findings in line with legal and procedural standardsSupporting criminal, civil, or internal investigationsMaintaining chain of custody and evidence integrityPotentially providing expert witness testimonyDesired Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Digital Forensic Analyst (three years preferred)Strong knowledge of digital hardware, file systems, and operating system artefactsUnderstanding of the legal frameworks and forensic principles surrounding electronic evidenceExperience using forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, etc.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex technical findings clearlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamWhat We Offer:Long-term career prospects with opportunities for growth and professional developmentA supportive working environmentCompetitive salary packagePension schemePlease note: Appointments will be subject to successful security vetting.MD5 Limited is an equal opportunities employer, and we are especially committed to encouraging staff development and progression.
