Are you looking to join a fast-growing company and become an integral part of their sales team as an Area Sales Manager to cover the South West region?My client manufacture a comprehensive range of Industrial Automation products and solutions and work with a wide network of OEM's, End User's, Panel Builders and distribution customers.Responsibilities:Take ownership of customer interactions.Be technically knowledgeable about all product lines sold by the business.Pre-qualify requests for quotations with calls where appropriate.Follow, plan, and execute both branch and nationwide sales strategies.Follow up on visits and maintain records of your sales pipeline.Maintain CRM records for discounts, contacts, and carriage for any customer you interact with.Comfortably call non-buying, turned down, and new customers to arrange initial meetings.Actively promote product benefits and value statements on LinkedIn.Plan and execute marketing events throughout the financial year.Take ownership of assigned accounts, monitor quotes, orders, and delivery issues, and visit customers regularly to stay informed about their business.Qualifications:HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (Not essential)Ability to work well under pressure.Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions.Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong communication skills.
