Our team of expert landscapers and horticulturists take pride in upholding the highest standards, serving an exclusive clientele that includes many high-net-worth individuals across West and North London.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Horticulturist to join our team, maintaining prestigious residential gardens in West and North London. This senior, hands-on role involves a broad range of horticultural tasks including daily garden maintenance, seasonal planting, lawn care, pruning, and plant care. The successful candidate will also be involved in soft landscaping following garden builds and will assist in the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems. All work must reflect the high standards that HCL is known for.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain lawns, garden beds, planters, and soft landscaping to a high standardCarry out all core horticultural tasks: planting, pruning, weeding, watering, soil preparation, and lawn careOperate and maintain horticultural tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers)Safely handle tools and equipment in line with health and safety regulationsSupport the delivery of garden projects through plant-ups and irrigation installationParticipate in training sessions, site meetings, and health and safety briefingsProactively report site issues and suggest practical improvementsQualifications & SkillsProven experience in high-end domestic garden maintenanceStrong knowledge of plants, horticultural techniques, and seasonal careExperience with irrigation systems and their maintenanceProficient in the safe use of horticultural equipment and toolsHigh attention to detail and a strong work ethicExcellent communication and teamwork skillsHorticultural qualifications or certifications (RHS Level 2 or equivalent) are advantageousYour Skills & Experience: EssentialExperience in horticulture or grounds maintenanceKnowledge of garden tools, machinery, and safety practicesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and strong time management skillsPhysically fit, well-presented, and committed to health 'safety standardsConfident and professional when interacting with clientsFull driving licence (preferable but not essential)In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
