C9 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and organised Duty Manager on behalf of a well-established coach operator based in the Slough area. As Duty Manager, youll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to optimise driver and fleet allocation, maintain legal compliance, and uphold exceptional service standards. Key Responsibilities: Allocate drivers and vehicles to scheduled operations with efficiency and attention to cost control. Liaise with drivers, sales, engineering teams, and customers regarding daily operational needs. Monitor and enforce compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, including EC drivers hours regulations. Respond to breakdowns, delays, and other incidents with effective decision-making and communication. Ensure timely updates are provided to all relevant parties regarding service disruptions or incidents. Coordinate vehicle procurement outside of standard office hours when required.
