We understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.What You'll Be DoingLead the MDT in assessment, risk management, and care planning for young people in PICUConduct regular ward reviews and attend clinical, family, and discharge planning meetingsSupervise junior and specialty doctors on siteEnsure compliance with national standards and participate in inspections (e.g., CQC, Quality Network reviews)Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service improvement initiativesRepresent the service in provider collaborative networks and stakeholder engagementParticipate in second-tier consultant on-call rota (1 in 4)What You'll HaveGMC registration with CCT in CAMHS Psychiatry (or equivalent)Approved Clinician and Section 12(2) statusExperience in Tier 4 inpatient CAMHS or crisis assessment settingsConfident leader and team player, with a focus on quality and outcomesSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBSWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
