You will have a truly global reach, which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfasts iconic Titanic Quarter.Team/Role OverviewThe FX Business Management team provide coordination and support for executing growth, efficiency and control strategies, and day-to-day activities in partnership with FX Sales and Trading Teams.This role requires working closely with the product to support business goals, and partnership with cross functional teams including Product Management, Client Facilitation, Legal, Credit Risk Management, Compliance, Operations and Technology.The responsibilities of the function can be broken down into 4 components:Financials and performance metrics reportingGovernance, Controls, Conduct and ComplianceStrategic development of the business and productTactical support of the business as required on a day-to-day basisThe candidate must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment without close supervision, and with colleagues who may not be in the same geographic location. In addition, the candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications as well as presentation skills.What Youll DoBusiness Administration/GovernanceProblem-solving mindset capable of collaboration, building consensus, and completing implementationLiaise with support functions, building relationships with credit risk, market risk, operations, finance and technology to assist in delivering on business strategyCreate management presentations for desk heads and senior management teamsResponsible for ad-hoc Business Management tasks that support the activities of the business including expense management, headcount planning, and financial reportingParticipate in the control framework for the wider business including Managers Control Assessment (MCA) testing, operational loss processes, investigating, developing and driving corrective actionsControl & Regulatory FocusEnsure corrective actions are implemented for control related issues across the spectrum of control functions with a goal of driving a robust, efficient and scalable business model for the supported desks.Business Development & Project ManagementLead and participate in business-driven projects across functions, driving implementation and working closely with relevant seniorsAssist desk heads with strategy & projects for example technology change, client tiers, reference data, etc.Provide input into technology change, process, and control framework enhancements.What Well Need From YouRelevant experience in finance organization (preferably in Investment banking)Excellent communications skills (written / verbal) at all organizational levelsAbility to interact concisely and confidently with senior business leaders.Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage and prioritize effectively and resolve conflicting priorities.Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously.Ability to perform effectively under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills and a level of self-directionAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional environment with colleagues who are not based in the same location.High level of computer literacy especially with Microsoft Excel & PowerPointWhat we can offer you:Develop as a leader working with a dynamic and fast moving team covering global and regional responsibilitiesBuild a deep understanding of the infrastructure and controls that support the FX Sales and Trading business and the underlying productsBecome a change agent in areas that require enhancement for business growth, increased control and efficiency improvementLearn to effectively prioritize as the job entails dealing with multiple conflicting priorities in a time sensitive environmentThe selected candidate will have the opportunity to work and build relationships with a broad range of people inside the organization, including Desk Heads, Country Markets Heads, FX Management, Global Functions Business Partners.We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
