Join to apply for the Eating Disorder Psychiatrist role at Prudential BankPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.3 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Are you an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist looking for either a full-time or part-time opportunity where you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders?Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes tailored to each young person's needs.You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice, with experience in CAMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams.When you work for Elysium Healthcare, you gain instant access to a large, supportive peer group of like-minded professionals to engage and network with, experiencing what delivering excellent healthcare should feel like.This role requires participation in the on-call rota for a small group of CAMHS & ED services.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload as RC of the ward.Participate in assessment and management of children and young people referred to the Service.Assess physical health and document findings within Carenotes and weekly ICR meetings.Ensure timely completion of professional reports such as ICRs, CPA, and Tribunals.Act as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act.Attend CETRs when needed.Provide leadership, supervision, reflection, and risk management to key workers.Participate in the CAMHS Consultant on-call rota.Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.Uphold principles of Clinical Governance and adhere to organizational policies.Participate in an Annual Appraisal Program, developing Personal Development Plans focused on CPD.Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.RequirementsRegistered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice.Experience in CAMHS eating disorders is desirable.Medically qualified with MRCPsych or equivalent.Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.Innovative, imaginative, and able to initiate organizational decisions.Leadership qualities.Ability to effect change professionally and organizationally.BenefitsCompetitive annual salary8,400 car allowance10,000 retention bonus30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday offGroup Personal Pension Plan (GPPP) and pension contributionsLife AssuranceEnhanced Maternity PackageFree meals on dutyEmployee Assistance ServicesCareer development and training opportunitiesWellbeing support and activitiesVoluntary benefitsMedical indemnity coverAdditional benefits include retail discounts, special offers, and more.About Your Next EmployerYou will work for an established, stable, and agile organization with over 8,000 employees and a unique approach to care delivery.
