It is anticipated that the post holder will provide system leadership for mental and physical health, developing relationships with key partners along with the Medical Director.Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. An annual fee of 16 per year applies.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will work closely with the Medical Director and Associate Medical Directors. Other key relationships will be with the Director of Medical Education, Chief Clinical Information Officer, Chief Psychological Professions Officer, Chief Pharmacist and the Director of Research.The deputy medical director post will hold responsibility for patient safety (2 days), wider across the medical portfolio to be agreed yearly including Integrated Improvement Plan responsibilities (2 days) and 1 day of clinical work to be agreed.The deputy medical director will also provide day to day line management of the CCIO, CPPO, Chief Pharmacist and Head of Research, supported by the Medical Director.About us#TeamNottsHC comprises over 11,000 dedicated colleagues who #MakeADifference every day.
