In this newly created role whilst the key focus will be recruitment, the successful person will also assist with training and general administration. As Recruitment Assistant, key responsibilities will include: Recruitment: Assist hiring managers in developing clear and effective job descriptions and advertisements Utilise a variety of channels (such as job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to source potential candidates Conduct initial screenings of CVs and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managersProactively follow up with hiring managers to ensure a timely and efficient hiring processIssue employment contracts, job descriptions, and new starter documentation, verifying right-to-work, references, and facilitating a smooth onboarding experienceRegularly review existing supplier agreements and evaluate new proposalsProvide regular reports on recruitment progress and suggest process improvements as neededMaintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activitiesManage the employee referral programTrainingEnsure the training database is maintained and up to dateCoordinate with internal and external training providers to schedule sessions, send invitations, and confirm attendanceArrange accommodation, meals, and refreshments as required, and communicate details to delegatesDistribute course briefs and post-training evaluation surveys to assess training effectiveness and address identified needsGeneral AdministrationOrganise annual conferences, budget meetings, and team-building eventsEnsure HR data within the HR system is accurate and up to date, and generate management reportsOversee employee surveys, collect feedback, and prepare reportsTo be successful as Recruitment Assistant, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience: Experience in a recruitment or resourcing position - ideally with industrial, high volume recruitment Proficiency in utilising recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Keen attention to detail and dedication to delivering a positive candidate experience Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders Proactive, self-motivated, and maintaining a positive attitude Whats in it for you?As well as a competitive salary, the Company also offer a contributory salary sacrifice pension scheme, enhanced holiday entitlement, Private Healthcare, Health Sheild plan plus other benefits.
