The role will be to oversee the delivery of fire safety compliance works across residential projects in London. This is a pivotal role requiring in-depth knowledge of social housing legislation and experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and other stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end delivery of planned maintenance projects across social housing.Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and other statutory regulationsCoordinate subcontractors, site workers and tenantsControl project budgets, track forecasts, and deliver cost-efficient solutionsConduct site inspections, oversee snagging, and manage handover proceduresMaintain ongoing communication and engagement with residents throughout project lifecyclesProduce accurate project documentation, reports, and maintain full audit trailsLiaise with internal compliance, housing, and asset teamsEnsure works adhere building regulations and decent home standardsRequirementExtensive experience managing planned external/SHDF projects ideally within a social housing environment and construction industry knowledge.Strong understanding of decarbonisation, SHDF, EWI/CWI and Retrofit work.SMSTS, MCIOB, NVQ Black Card Desirable.Proven track record in project and contract management.Recognised qualifications such as NEBOSH, SMSTS, or equivalent project/construction safety credentialsExceptional organisational, communication, and client management skillsJob Title: Contract ManagerLocation: Across London/South EastSalary: 70,000 80,000 + PackageEmployment Type: Full Time
