Counterbalance Forklift Driver Friday, Saturday, Sundays with ad-hoc shifts during the week where possible Portsmouth. Overview We are seeking a number of skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team and work with one of our clients based in Portsmouth who needs additional cover, predominantly on a weekend and will be on days and nights. Working hours will be 7am-6pm and 6pm-6am and we can work with your availability on either days or nights. Duties Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas. Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and clean work environment. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks associated with forklift operation. Skills Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently. Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace. Forklift assessments will take place before role starting.
