Our stunning new home, Bridgewater Manor, is a purpose-built care home facility located in Worsley Village, Salford. The home is registered to provide care to 71 residents with various needs, including residential and nursing care. It meets all CQC standards, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a program of daily activities and gentle exercise to enhance residents' wellbeing. Our team members are selected for their warmth and passion, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD by CQC in all domains. We have maintained zero agency staff usage for over four years by employing a permanent team to ensure continuity of care. All staff are paid above the national living wage. We are seeking to appoint akind, caring, and motivated Team Leaderto join our team. You will support the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager in providing leadership and managing the care team effectively 24/7 within available resources. This is afull-timeposition with an excellent hourly rate of £12.25. Shift times are 07:45-20:00, with alternate weekends. Applicants must have experience in medication management and administration. Role Responsibilities:Promote high standards of person-centered clinical nursing care for residents. Manage and supervise the care team, ensuring quality care delivery during shifts. Model and demonstrate person-centered care. Safeguard the welfare of adults under your responsibility. Manage delivery of personalized care plans during your shift. Support professional standards within the home. Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Care Assistants. Ensure effective assessment, planning, and evaluation of resident care through written care plans. Maintain accurate records as required by the company and regulators. Manage daily rotas and delegate tasks appropriately. Complete new admission files within the first week of admission, involving the named nurse, senior carer, and key worker. Build relationships with external professionals. Assist in regular quality audits of care plans. Skills and Experience Required:Experience in medication management and administration. Experience working with older adults. NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent. NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent, or achievement within 12 months of employment. Ability to contribute to assessing, planning, and evaluating care needs of older people. Knowledge of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential/nursing settings.
