This school is seeking a calm, confident, and proactiveInclusion Room Supervisorto manage their internal inclusion space. This role plays a key part in supporting students who are removed from mainstream lessons due to behavioural, emotional, or pastoral needs, helping them re-engage positively with learning. The position begins in September 2025.Duties as Inclusion Room Supervisor:Supervising students working in the Inclusion Room, maintaining a calm and purposeful learning environment.Supporting students to complete work set by subject teachers.Encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes, using a restorative approach.Monitoring student engagement and reporting concerns to relevant staff.Working with the pastoral and behaviour teams to support reintegration into lessons.Having experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth support setting.Being confident in managing behaviour and building respectful, supportive relationships.Remaining calm, consistent, and assertive under pressure.Possessing strong organisational and communication skills.Being committed to helping every student succeed, regardless of their challenges.Why Step Teachers?
