You will coach, mentor, and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers, ensuring YPs are fully supported to be the best that they can be, and ensuring the children’s placement plans are communicated to and understood.Do you have these qualities?Experience and skills gained from a previous role as a Deputy or Assistant Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in the Residential Child Care sectorLevel 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalentA full understanding of safeguarding childrenConfident when supervising care teams and offering leadership and support in a proactive and effective wayA good knowledge of the legislation relating to residential childcarePassion, drive, and resilience when supporting our children who present emotional and behavioural challengesGood verbal and written communication skillsIT proficient and the desire to learn new skillsA full, valid, UK driving licence for manual vehicles.How to Apply: If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people and would like to join our client's professional and dedicated team, they encourage you to apply today.
