This position sits within the Asset department, who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost effective strategies to manage Sanctuarys property portfolio. They advise on reinvestment programmes, stock condition surveys, and provide specialist surveyor input on a range of other matters to ensure that properties are maintained and retain their value.The role of Asset Surveyor will include:Undertaking Disrepairs, Awareness Notices, Stock Condition surveys and other property inspections in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performanceHelping to identify required asset improvements in line with business plans, ensuring that strategies and plans are developed, and high-quality services are deliveredManaging cyclical and capital work projects in line with legislation and making appropriate recommendationsOverseeing the delivery of mixed tenure work programmes in accordance with the organisations financial policies and proceduresMaintaining accurate records and managing documentation for work specifications and quotationsProviding detailed reports and advice on budgets to aid decision making and reviewing costs for accuracy as appropriateCoordinating and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed of progress by providing clear and precise updatesSkills and experiences:To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to AssocRIC, MRICS CIOB, Degree in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification.Proven experience in working with others to deliver property related works, including indirect reports and third-party suppliersExperience of working within a building, surveying and maintenance environmentWorking knowledge of legislations and best practiceAbility to extract and interpret computerised information and documentationProficient user of Microsoft packagesThis role will involve driving on company business.
