We run a series of highly regarded industry conferences, including Scotlands largest annual tech event.Were looking for an experienced Event Manager to help lead the planning and delivery of our annual events programme. The position will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and an incredible opportunity for someone with the ambition and drive to make a mark on the Scottish events ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside colleagues in our Sales, Marketing, Research & Editorial team, your responsibilities are to:Manage 8-10 events per yearSource and secure suitable venuesCoordinate logistics such as catering, AV, and signageManage event staffing and schedulingAct as a liaison for speakers, sponsors, and exhibitorsManage delegate communication, registration, and badging processOversee the setup of conference tech and AVUpdate the delegate app with conference information Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience in managing events (3 years minimum)Strong project management, scheduling, and planning skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience using CRM & event technology (e.g. HubSpot, PowerPoint, scanning tools)Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skillsCalm under pressure with excellent problem-solving abilityHighly organised, structured, and detail orientatedExperience running a small events team and delegating tasksBenefitsCompetitive salaryHoliday allowance and TOIL structureHybrid working flexibilityPension provisionProfessional development and growth opportunitiesA vibrant and supportive work environment within a small friendly teamThe Opportunity with DIGITThis role will provide a front-row seat to one of the most exciting and dynamic industries in Scotland.
