Job descriptionPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient provision of purchasing and Logistics services to the Supply Chain department. Ensuring all requirements are delivered both internally and externally in a timely and relevant manner. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of supply chain logistics.Please note there is a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week in Crewe, Cheshire.Logistics:To organise logistics requirements including but not limited to data entry, shipping quotes, shipping documentation, raising transport purchase orders and invoice reconciliation.To facilitate Import/Export or Transfer of Celox Medical Materials between origin and delivery point, collaborating with approved Transport providers to deliver efficient service at lowest cost.To raise necessary documentation and Certification in line with shipping regulations for Import & Export activities.To review and maintain compliance in line with most up to date customs regulations.Track shipments from collection to delivery including receiving and filing POD for all customer orders and material movements.To maintain transport dashboard with a view for continuous improvements to be identified in line with companys ESG targetsMaintaining multiple transport databases for future reconciliation.Resolve any issues or discrepancies raised by the 3PL in a timely manner with appropriate communication.Complete Customs Pre-entry process / procedure in accordance with Customer and material requirements, as required.Create credit requests for damages or shortages.Transport Invoice review, reconciliation, resolving invoice queries and requesting credit notes, as required.Purchasing:Raising and issuing purchase orders as required for all purchasing activitiesRequesting, receiving and reviewing order acknowledgements ensuring all order acknowledgements are accurate and in line with our Purchase requirements.Filing signed Purchase Orders, Order Acknowledgements or other critical documents as detailed in the Purchasing SOPEnsure supplier price files are generated and maintained in line with new supplier pricing and price amendments.Updating monthly ForecastsNew items and supplier pricing set upExperience:Experience of working within a Regulated Industry ie: Pharma, Medical Devices, Food etc.Previous experience of working with Import & Export shipmentsExperience of working within Supply Chain or Logistics role(s)Educated to A Level standard or equivalentExperienced with Sage 200Good understanding of WMS / Warehouse Operations / lmport, Export and Domestic shippingCompetencies:Strong IT Skills - MS Office - Minimum Excel Intermediate LevelEffective communication skills both verbal and writtenHigh attention to detailEffective time management and prioritisation skillsHighly organisedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholdersAbility to remain calm under pressure and make decisions quicklyConfident to take personal initiative and work unsupervisedIdeally has the aptitude and desire to develop a career in Supply Chain or LogisticsPlease note you must have the right to work in the UK as we do not offer any Visa sponsorship.If you are passionate about supply chain management and possess the necessary skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator.
