This is a permanent, full-time position ideally based in the office five days a week, though hybrid working can be considered for the right individual.Key Responsibilities:Managing the commercial aspects of steelwork projects from tender through to final accountPreparing and submitting valuations and variationsCost control, cash flow forecasting, and commercial reportingWorking closely with internal teams including estimating, contracts, and procurementLiaising with clients and subcontractors throughout project lifecycleRequirements:Previous experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the structural steelwork sectorStrong understanding of contracts and commercial processesExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDesirable:Experience with estimating is advantageousThe role would suit either a QS looking to step into a senior role or an estimator looking to transition into quantity surveyingThis is a great opportunity to join a respected steelwork company with a strong pipeline of work across the UK and Ireland, offering long-term progression and support.If you're looking to take the next step in your commercial career within structural steel, get in touch for a confidential discussion.
