Eames are currently partnering with a global financial institution looking to hire a UK Payroll Lead to join their senior leadership team, on a 12 month contract basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to lead a large-scale function and drive transformation in a business that services over 50,000 UK-based employees.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.This role is ideal for a proven payroll leader with extensive experience running a UK payroll for a large corporation. This Head of Payroll position will be based in their Northampton SCC three days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday.Key responsibilities:Own and deliver the monthly UK payroll, ensuring accuracy and complianceLead, inspire, and develop a high-performing payroll team with clear succession plansPartner with transformation teams to drive continuous improvement and change implementationServe as the senior escalation point for complex issues and ensure timely resolutionAdvise senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goalsMaintain strong risk controls and meet regulatory requirementsKey Requirements:Extensive experience in large-scale UK payroll, ideally in Financial ServicesProven team leadership experience with ability to coach, develop and retain talentCIPP Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levelExperience managing transformation or change projects from concept to implementationOffer:75-90,000 (DEO)12mth FTCPrivate medical careMarket leading benefitsHybrid working: Monday, Tuesday, Friday in the office
