This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of legal matters and support a dynamic, multi-sector business with international reach.Role Overview As In-House Solicitor, you will provide comprehensive legal support across the Groups operations in the UK, Asia (including Hong Kong and Malaysia), and South Africa. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to ensure legal compliance, manage risk, and support the Groups strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts with customers and suppliersProvide legal support on customer tenders, NDAs, and commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictionsAssist the Group Legal Counsel and Company Secretary with corporate governance, compliance, insurance, data protection, and dispute resolutionBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across all business units and support functionsLiaise with external legal counsel and manage legal instructions effectivelyCandidate ProfileEssential Qualifications and Experience:Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 25 years PQESolid grounding in corporate, commercial or construction lawExperience gained in a national or reputable regional law firm or in-house legal teamStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied and demanding workloadCommercial awareness and a proactive approach to legal risk managementDesirable:Experience in construction law, particularly with NEC3 and NEC4 contractsKey Attributes:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and business functionsSelf-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently
