This role acts as the bridge between finance and operations, providing financial insights and ensuring robust forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. It requires both hands-on technical expertise and strong communication skills to guide non-finance stakeholders and senior leaders.Key responsibilities include:Supporting strategic decisions with financial modelling and impact analysisProducing timely, accurate monthly management accountsPartnering with business units on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planningPerforming variance analysis and identifying risks/opportunitiesLeading financial scenario analysis to support business casesManaging cashflow forecasts and reconciliationsPosting journals, accruals, and intercompany transactionsCollaborating with the wider finance team on reporting and cost controlDriving improvements in tools, processes, and systemsParticipate in finance related projectsWho you areYou are a qualified finance professional with a strong track record in business partnering. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can translate complex financial data into actionable insights. You have the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders, and you're always looking for ways to improve processes and add value.ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modellingExcellent communication and stakeholder engagementAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsCommercial acumen and analytical mindsetTreasury and cashflow management knowledge (desirable)BA in Finance, Accounting or related field with a background in transport (desirable)BenefitsSalary depending on experienceOn-site parkingPensionHoliday buy and sell scheme
