This role will be closely aligned with our Scaffold Access Divisions based in Birmingham and Runcorn, requiring regular travel between both locations to maintain a strong, consistent onsite presence.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of our scaffolding services by ensuring compliance with HSE standards, engaging with site teams, and driving positive cultural change. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Denholm Industrial Services SHE policies and procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and providing expert advice across all levels of the business.Role responsibilitiesSupport organisational strategies to improve culture, compliance, and engagementConduct audits and inspections across sites to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresAssist the HSEQ team in maintaining the Denholm document management system in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification requirementsDeliver in-house training sessions for managers and operatives where necessaryDevelop standard operating procedures, toolbox talks, reports, and safety alertsProvide expert guidance on a wide range of SHE topics including working at height, HAVs, fire safety, lone working, and moreStay up to date with changing HSEQ legislation and NASC guidanceInvestigate accidents and incidents, produce reports within our digital incident management system, and assign corrective actionsSupport the development of risk assessments including RAMS, COSHH, etc.Prepare and present weekly HSE monthly SHE performance updates to the management team and HSE DirectorEnsure scaffold and cradle equipment inspections are completed and logged appropriatelyCollaborate with the Project Director and HSEQ Director to ensure alignment of HSE strategies and initiativesAssist with the preparation and review of project-specific HSE documentation across both Scaffold Access DivisionsSkills and experienceMinimum three years experience in a HSE advisory role, ideally within scaffolding, orconstruction environmentsExperience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems (Internal/Lead Auditor qualification preferred)Confident in data analysis and identifying trendsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage operatives and senior stakeholders alikeSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to influence and drive cultural improvementsExcellent planning, organisation, and time management skillsAbility to build cooperative working relationships across multiple locationsFamiliarity with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Denholm is committed to the ongoing development of our employees.
