Alexander Steele are working with an established multi-site ambient food manufacturer in West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Junior NPD Technologist to join their Technical team.Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.This is a great opportunity for a Graduate targeting the food industry whos passionate about product development and keen to grow within a supportive, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Assist with the development of new and existing products, ensuring they meet food safety, legal, and quality standards.Help prepare accurate launch packs, product specifications, and support documentation for production.Carry out internal audits (GMP, hygiene, foreign body control) and support traceability exercises.Coordinate product sampling and laboratory testing, reviewing results and escalating non-conformances.Support investigations into customer complaints and help identify corrective and preventative actions.Conduct packaging checks and swabbing activities in line with site schedules and compliance needs.On Offer:Annual Salary of 25,50033 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays)Monday to Friday Office HoursPension: 3% employer / 5% employeeExcellent opportunity for training and development in a well-established food manufacturing businessIf this role is of interest or you require further information, please apply with your most up to date CV and I will be in touch.
