Interim Head of Strategic Asset Management BristolAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.Contract: 700 per dayOn behalf of a forward-thinking local authority, we are seeking an exceptional Interim Head of Strategic Asset Management to lead and transform their strategic approach to asset management,This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering a long-term asset management strategy, driving innovation, ensuring statutory compliance, and improving the management of the authorities assets through resident engagement and cross-directorate collaboration.The RoleResponsible for managing the Asset Management Team, Building Safety Team, Energy & Renewables TeamDevelop and implement investment strategies to maximise the value and performance of assetsContribute towards budget setting and delivery of annual housing investment planningOversee the performance of council housing assets across financial, environmental and social dimensionsEnsure full compliance with building safety, fire safety, and landlord obligationsMaintain the Housing Revenue Account business plan and drive value through strategic property decisionsEngage with a wide range of stakeholders including Housing Committees, Executive Teams, and residentsAct as a key driver of organisational change and improvement across the serviceThe successful candidate will be: A qualified professional in a property-related field or someone with significant senior experience in asset or property management within the public sectorA proven leader with experience delivering strategic housing or asset plans and navigating political or stakeholder environmentsStrong analytical, project management, and financial planning capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex property data and strategies to diverse audiencesA track record of delivering results through collaboration and innovationStrong knowledge of social housing regulation and landlord complianceIf you are a strategic leader with a deep understanding of housing asset management and a passion for public service, please apply now.
