As part of their versatile team, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning various sectors, such as public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, and insurance. By working across multiple sectors, you'll develop a broad range of skills and expand your knowledge, ensuring continuous growth and exciting new challenges in your career.This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead and develop a section of the existing Project Management team in their Bristol office while being supported by an established multi-disciplinary practice.Key responsibilities:Take independent ownership of project delivery across all stages, with backing from a multidisciplinary teamOversee internal and external consultant teams whilst fostering collaborative communication throughout project executionDrive project reporting and administrative functions with significant independenceCreate and execute project procurement strategiesUndertake project programming using MS ProjectEstablish and maintain comprehensive project risk registersOversee and monitor project financial performanceExecute project change control proceduresEstablish and implement robust quality management systemsMonitor contractor performance and manage contract administration (NEC3/4 and/or JCT)Monitor and provide regular reporting on contractor progress at site levelCoordinate, attend, facilitate and document meetings where requiredDirect daily project operations and administrative functions under Project Director guidance - the degree of independence will vary according to project scale and complexityThe candidateWere looking for an engaging and passionate individual with a hunger to drive their business forward in the Bristol region. A natural leader with the necessary technical capability, you will be confident in your ability to lead a section of the team, develop new business and build on existing accounts.Entrepreneurial mindset coupled with curiosity, thoroughness and determinationAdaptability, dependability and a proactive approachStrong collaborative working styleDegree in a construction-related field (or equivalent professional credentials)Preferably chartered status, working towards, or planning to pursue chartership with RICS, APM or CIOBSolid grasp of project delivery methodologies from RIBA stages 0-6An extensive background in the construction industry professional services is mandatory, with portfolio examples to be presented during the interview process.
