We have confidential instructions from a key London law firm client seeking to hire a specialist real estate finance lawyer. This is a rare opportunity to help develop a broad property finance practice at a well-regarded firm. The firm has an excellent reputation in transactional property work (both commercial and residential), with a sizeable team in this area. While they currently have some capacity in real estate finance, they are now looking for a generalist property finance lawyer with strong expertise on the finance side. The firm is not on multiple large panels, so this role is suited to someone keen to support the transactional real estate team and also to further build their network with banks and other relevant clients and referrers. As such, no direct client following is needed although it is welcome - as the firm has sufficient work available. However, a track record demonstrating ability and enthusiasm for business development and cross-selling is highly valued. You should be a property finance lawyer with a stable career history and current or recent experience at a well-rated London or national law firm.
