Role – Logistics Contract Manager £££ - circa £60,000 Start Date – ASAPLocation – Travel to Corby, Northampton and SheffieldPod Talent are working with a rapidly growing and innovative consumer goods business on an exciting new opportunity within their logistics team. This role will play a crucial part in managing 3PL relationships and operational performance across multiple warehouse locations. It's a brilliant opportunity for someone experienced in third-party logistics who enjoys being hands-on and driving real change in a high-growth environment.While this is a 3-month interim role initially, there is potential for it to go permanent.Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Contract Manager – Interim:Act as the key contact between the business and 3PL providers, ensuring excellent service and contract performanceAnalyse logistics data and 3PL KPIs to drive improvements and cost-saving initiativesMonitor and manage capacity planning, storage utilisation and operational resource requirementsValidate 3PL invoicing and ensure reporting is delivered accurately and on timeSupport system developments and ensure high inventory accuracy across 3PL sitesAudit 3PL SOPs and ensure compliance, identifying areas for continuous improvementProvide weekly visibility and reporting to internal stakeholders, flagging performance risksKey Experience Required for the Position of Logistics Contract Manager – Interim:Strong experience managing 3PL contracts, ideally within both B2B and D2C channelsProven background in logistics or warehousing, with a mix of 3PL and in-house operationsSolid understanding of performance management, capacity planning and cost controlExperience working with parcel carriers, particularly in a consumer-led supply chainProactive mindset, data-driven and comfortable travelling regularly between sitesIdeally based within a commutable distance of Corby, Northampton and SheffieldThis is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-performing supply chain team and make an impact from day one.Interested?
