Expert Scientific Writer – Medical / Pharma Contract role – 6 months, extendableRate = €450-550 per day (Ireland based) or £400-500pd (UK based) DOELocation: UK based or Ireland based candidates only. NO SPONSORSHIP provided, so You MUST hold UK citizenship OR EU/EEA citizenship or hold existing full rights to work in Ireland or UK.Expert Scientific Writer required for internal med comms (Medical Communications) team of a Multinational Pharmaceutical Organisation. Your role will be to manage and complete assigned Medical Communications deliverables at high quality standards and in accordance with agreed timelines. Projects include publications, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, satellite symposia content, congress or advisory board reports, publication planning & medical education materials for internal medical and/or clinical teams.Experience required:Education Qualification - Science degree as a minimum & preferably Masters of PhD qualified (MSc, PhD, PharmD or MD)Extensive experience – Minimum of 5+ years experience in medical communications essentialRange of Scientific writing content deliverables across med comms areas listed above Medical writer / Medical or Healthcare Scientific writing expertiseSpecific command of medical therapeutic areas (medical/scientific/therapeutic area content) for publications and materialsProven ability to Interpret and apply clinical data in medical communication deliverablesMedical / Scientific knowledge & understanding of relevant content createdMS Office expertiseFluent English (both written and spoken)Exceptional communication, writing and listening skillsOther key terms: Pharmaceutical or Medical communications expert writer, Scientific Writer, therapeutic Specialist writer, Medical Communications Specialist, Scientific Communications Specialist, MedComms Specialist, Medcomms content writer, Medical writer, Healthcare Expert writer, Medical or Pharma Specialist Writer, Therapies – Oncology, Neurology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Hematology, Haematology, Contractor, Consultant, Freelance.
