They’re now looking to appoint a Chartered Senior Mechanical Engineering Consultant to lead the delivery of complex mechanical engineering assignments. Their successful candidate will be a key part of the business managing projects from design through to operational optimisation, contributing expert insight into structural and stress assessments, and supporting the development of junior engineers across the team. Their ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with demonstrable experience in structural integrity or mechanical reliability engineering. You’ll be confident leading technical teams, have an expert grasp of pressure systems and relevant design codes, and bring hands-on experience with software like ABAQUS, ANSYS, or CAESAR II. Strong communication, a collaborative approach, and a technically assured presence are essential.
