Department - OperationsReporting To: The Engineering ManagerContract: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: Competitive - DaysLocation: On-site role – Leek, StaffordshireYou will be part of a small team maintaining and improving our facility and production machine.The job is varied and interesting.Allicio is expanding rapidly and we are making a significant investment in new equipment and processes. To achieve this, we need engineers to help us with our vision. It will be a mix of reactive breakdowns, PPM nd project work, ensuring that the spare parts inventory is maintained. Ideally you will have experience with food manufacture, sachets and containers. The job requires both electrical and mechanical experience.Key Areas of ResponsibilityMaintenance of our production equipmentEnsure work is carried out promptly and safely at all timesReport any hazards to your Manager - responsible person upon discoveryTo ensure all PPM schedules are completed correctlyTo improve processes and equipmentEnsure paperwork is filled out correctlyEnsuring spare parts are orderedTo follow the correct accounting/authorisation prcoess when ordering replacement partsMaintain and improve standards of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas of the factory including the engineering office and workshopTo undertake emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way on all production equipment and plantTo assist in the installation of new equipment to the siteKnowledge, Qualifications and SkillsEssential:Multi-skilled apprenticeshipElectrical/Mechanicalqualification, Level 3/Time served engineerFMCG experiencePC literateTroubleshooting and fault-finding,diagnostics and resolution experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate team skills with a positive attitude and professional approach.Desirable:HVAC experienceExperience with food manufactureSachet machine experienceConveyorsCHP and Boiler experiencePLC programmingProject ExperienceContinuous improvement & lean experienceElectrical installationPersonal:An ability to work on your own or as part of a teamAttention to detailTrouble shoot issues in logical mannerFriendly and willing personalityEnsure apprentices are supervised and engaged
