About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Professional in Supplier Development for one of our international clients in the Aerospace sector.You will be working in one of these 2 locations: Belfast or Prestwick (Scotland), 3 to 4 days onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex supplier development and recovery missions to safeguard delivery and qualityDrive continuous improvement roadmaps with strategic suppliers and their sub-tiersFacilitate transformation initiatives using Lean, APQP, and Six Sigma toolsSupport cross-functional teams in major Transfers of Work or industrial ramp-upsConduct industrial maturity and capacity assessmentsServe as the performance point-of-contact for internal stakeholders across procurement, operations, and programsIdentify bottlenecks, eliminate inefficiencies, and ensure suppliers can meet tomorrow’s demands — todayFrequent travel to other sites in UK (2 days a week).What We Are Looking ForDegree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management or a related fieldSolid background in at least two of the following: procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or program delivery, (Preferably in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive or Rail)Hands-on expertise in:Supplier recovery or crisis turnaroundLean, Six Sigma, APQP, or problem-solving methodologiesCapacity and industrial capability assessmentsMajor production transfers or global industrialization projectsMRP and ERP systems (APICS/CPIM is a plus)About UsA leading international provider of solutions and expertise, specialising in the fields of digital systems and business performanceThe SCALIAN Group provides support to major industrial and service-sector companies to help them define and implement their projects in two fields:Digital Systems Embedded and critical systems, IoT, information systems, and digital solutions for businesses Operations Performance: Management of projects, quality, and industrial performance We are present in seven countries (France, Spain, Belgium, UK, Germany, USA and Canada).
