This role is instrumental in driving organizational effectiveness, supporting international growth, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and HR best practices across a diverse range of countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and other key international locations.The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of international HR practices, demonstrate strong cross-cultural fluency, and excel in aligning HR strategies with broader business objectives. This position requires a proactive and collaborative professional who can operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments.Hire Type: full-time Schedule: Flexible Schedule; must be available to work hours to accommodate team members in the Middle East and EuropeLocation: Remote – Home office (based in the UK)Duties/ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic HR advisor to leadership within the International Heritage Program, contributing to business planning, workforce development, strategic hiring, and organizational change initiativesPartner with global and regional HR teams to design and implement scalable, compliant, and culturally appropriate HR programs and policiesSupport talent management strategies including workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and leadership developmentLead or support the deployment of employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture-building efforts tailored to international contextsEnsure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in countries of operation, including Saudi Arabia, the UK, and others, mitigating risks and advising on regulatory changesProvide guidance and hands-on support in the resolution of employee relations issues, conflict management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency with company values and policiesCollaborate with global compensation, benefits, and mobility partners to support equitable and competitive reward strategies for international staffContribute to HR reporting, analytics, and insights to inform data-driven decision-making and strategic planningFoster a culture of inclusion, equity, and respect across all international operationsIdentify and resolve insurance issues to ensure subcontractors are covered and compliantEnsure all employees and contractors are appropriately authorized to work in applicable countries and maintain supporting documentationUpdate employment contracts to comply with country-specific employment laws and practices, with support from EOR platform and legal counsel as neededPartner with Operations and HR leads ensure alignment with regional business goals, HR processes, and workforce planningCreate and implement a resource plan that optimizes staffing to meet workload demandsServe as the liaison between vendors and subcontractors to fulfill current and future contract needsApply legal knowledge to review and edit complex contracts and agreementsSupport modifications to contracts and conduct analysis of vendor performance and contract alternativesManage vendor and contractor invoicingPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Juris Doctor, International Business)5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Legal Administrator, or similar role2+ years of experience in international human resources or employment law2+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating contractsExceptional command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities across regionsDemonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretionExcellent organizational and documentation skillsSolutions-oriented approach and strong coaching styleSound judgment and decision-making capabilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across functional and geographic teamsPreferred SkillsAdvanced degree and/or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD)Exceptional command of Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills5+ years experience with international employee relations and employment law5+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating contractsStrong knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations in at least two international regions, particularly the Middle East (with emphasis on Saudi Arabia) and Europe (particularly the UK).Proven experience supporting global or regional HR operations in complex and culturally diverse environments.
